One of the island destinations of Africa that many do not know about, Mauritius is a getaway for those looking for something new.
About Mauritius
Mauritius is an island nation in the Indian Ocean off the southeast coast of Africa. It was created by volcanic activity. There’s many ranges of mountains and streams caused by the volcanoes and of course luxurious beaches.  English and French are the official languages. It is also home of the Dodo bird.

There’s many financial services, healthcare, and investors for IT, textiles, and property development. The island is more developed than you think!
How Do I Get There?
The main airport is Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport. Cool name right? There’s numerous international airlines that fly in, some to mention are: Air France, Britishh Airways, Emirates, and Swiis Airlines.
What is There to Do?
Fast and obvious outlook – beaches, resorts, mountains, parties and villages. Some resorts offer watersports for free if you stay with them. Also, ATV-ing, 4×4, canyoning, bike riding, along the mountainous terrains. There is a naval academy you can visit and many centers are open to = hold business meetings. Convince your CEO to come here? Sky-diving is also available over such a beautiful island!
Climate and When to Come Visit
Note that tropical cyclones are possible from January to March. The Indian Ocean gets a bit rocky then.
The temps remain within the low 60’s to the mid 80’s year-round.

Dry season – (and cooler) May to October
