  2. One thing not mentioned and to keep in mind before winning a trip for 9, you have to pay taxes on the value of the trip. Although an excellent value it will not be totally free. Tax rate will depend on your tax bracket. 30% is about average. Still this is a great problem to have. Because prices fluctuate you should keep track of actual values, print cost of tickets, lodging, meals and other expenses. That way if the price is valued too high on the 1099 you can submit proof of actual value to the IRS.
