Quick answer – yes! Through many reviews, ratings, and my experience – Tobacco Bay is the best out of all Bermuda beaches to snorkel!
Take a look at the water – even though all of Bermuda’s beaches are clear, Tobacco Bay remains super calm with not even the tiniest waves. It’s protected by the rocks which provide extra prevention from the waves from coming in. The beach is also located in a protected area due to it’s location on the north east tip and it being a small cove shape.
You will see fish just like these children did 1 foot into the water and all the corals and sealife from above.
Don’t mind the seaweed in these photos! Gonzalo stirred it up and the cleaners were coming as I was there. On the norm, the beach will be cleaned perfectly and no seaweed will be present. There’s no rental tanks for scuba diving, but if you bring your own it would definitely be worth a dive!
