If you’ve been following my adventures in Arizona, then you know I had a wonderful time at the Fairmont Princess Scottsdale resort. Not only did I love the fact that it was located in Arizona, but there was still access to enjoy some water!
The water was my favorite part about the resort (of course!) and there’s many spots to enjoy it within the resort:
Four Pools and Pool Parties
The Fairmont Princess Scottsdale has four po0ls at its resort. While I was not present for any famous parties, there are a lot of them during the summer months (Memorial Day in May onward through Labor Day). You might even see some celebrity sightings!
The pool parties include DJ’s, food and drink service, and you can definitely see some decorations! For 4th of July, I was told they have planes fly over the grounds and for Christmas, everything is decked out.
For any other day you come stay at the Fairmont, these pools are accessible to you:
Located near the center of the resort, close to the lobby and majority of the rooms is South Pool. Order some food and drinks (I recommend the cactus cooler) and grab a chair anywhere you like. Hang out in the hot tub if you are aching for more heat. There are plenty of chairs facing every direction. For ultra privacy, go for the cabanas. “Dive In” movies take place in the summertime on Friday and Saturday evenings.
This is where the summer parties take place! Dj’s, glow lights, bubbles and more. The pool also has two waterslides – each twisting and about 200 feet in length! You can rent cabanas here as well. Children have a special area to play in.
A bit smaller of a pool, but here you can play a game of basketball or volleyball. Cabanas are not available for rent but are replaced by hammocks and a lap pool to get your exercise on.
Cool activities include learning to make bubbles, badmington, ping pong, and bocce ball.
Casita Pool – Exclusive
Only available to those who book a “Casita” have access to the Casita Pool. There is a hot tub in addition to the pool overlooking the TPC Scottsdale Stadium Golf Course and McDowell Mountains.
Butler service is available to all pools except the East Pool. Casita Pool offer their own special attendant service.
A special addition to the Fairmont Princess Scottsdale resort is the lagoon.
In the summer, a zip line is put up so you can fly right over the lagoon! There are many spots to sit by the lagoon and relax. You can make the lagoon adventurous or peaceful. If you’re more into seeing a relaxing view of the lagoon, be sure to ask for a room overlooking it!
