Waterfalls and Rejuvenation at the Well & Being Spa in the Fairmont Princess Scottsdale

Spa lovers, you will want to visit a spa in Arizona! The reviews and word of mouth that they are some of the best in our nation are true. Not only will you be experiencing a spa day, but it will be held both indoors and outdoors in the desert!

My recommendation and experience: The Well & Being Spa at the Fairmont Princess Scottsdale in Arizona! They’ve got waterfalls too…

Ok so let me begin – the Well & Being Spa where you can experience both spa and wellness treatments. Even if you don’t want a treatment, you can enjoy the grounds and relax in any spot you want.

The spa is enormous, actually it is the biggest one I have ever entered into. The staff greet you well, there are rooms to lounge in, and an array of treatments to choose from – massages, scrubs, facials, body wraps, and salon services.

I went with the Jojoba Prickly Pear Body Scrub, made from cactus! Never having seen a “body scrub” on a menu in a NY spa, I was really excited. The scrub was great, and so was the shower in between. Followed by a neck and head massage, I was experiencing pure zen. I wasn’t sure if I experienced “real zen” before, but this was it! My head was forever happy in the clouds until it came to dinner time that day. I was free of everything.

spa outdoors

Besides the spa menu, I enjoyed the waters. There is a grotto-like waterfall outdoors where the water splashes you in the most perfect way.

Other options include entering the hot whirlpool, going for a cold plunge into the pool, a Swiss shower, or spending the day at the rooftop pool enjoying a drink.

Want to exercise? You can do that too in the fitness room.
