If you’re planning a trip to Disney World in Florida, you know that you’re going to Orlando. While this is correct, Orlando is a massive area within Florida with includes numerous neighborhoods where many resorts thrive.
Disney World offer resorts of its own, from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge to Disney’s Polynesian Village to Disney’s Boardwalk Inn and many more. It’s easy to want to go straight to booking these Disney resorts without looking at others. There are other options nearby that we don’t look into considering which we should, such as Lake Buena Vista.

The hotels within Lake Buena Vista bring more to to the table than quick access to the Disney theme parks:
Watersports Near Magic Kingdom in your Own Oasis
Resorts in this area are located on or near the lake itself, and some even offer a sandy beach area, such as Disney’s Contemporary Resort. When you’re not relaxing on the beach, head to the marina where you can go kayaking, jetskiing, and more. Who said you need to be at a theme park to be adventurous when you can take yourself on your own ride out into the water?
Close to Downtown Disney
Within Lake Buena Vista, you can choose to stay close to the downtown Disney Area. The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is a great option for a fraction of the price that you would pay elsewhere. It is only a 15 minute walk so you can stroll out and stroll back in at your convenience. Make sure to enjoy the hotel’s own aquatic playground – included in your hotel fee!
Paradise Within a Forest
You can be close to Disney Resorts and experience paradise with both water and a forest in the same place! Disney’s Wilderness Lodge also hosts a sandy beach and with the resort come whirlpool tubs – both hot and cold! Don’t think you’ll be in the pool out in the open sun all day. Surrounding the water are pine trees, wooden design, and nature trails. You can choose to sunbathe or go into the woods!
Which paradise of a hotel would you choose?
