Whenever I thought of my first trip to the Florida Keys, I always imagined doing the drive. Yes, it would be much easier to fly into Key West, but then I would miss all the other Keys!
So how was the drive down? Two words: SO FUN!
I am not big on driving long distances but I would drive through the Keys any day. There is always something to see, restaurants, boats, water, bridges galore. I don’t get bored looking at turquoise waters. If you do, then the drive might not be for you. If you enjoy pulling over to get into the water, go boating, or feed tarpons, the drive is for you even more so!
